SPG Monthly Seniors – Good Times And Free Swag!

We try to keep up with the best events in Vegas, but somehow we had missed this one until now. Suited Poker Gear runs a monthly seniors event at Westgate, with an appearance this week by SPG ambassador Sue Carrell and Hal Coblentz from Texas Holdem Radio, and a ton of swag giveaways from Suited Poker Gear. The field also featured Lori Ann Persinger, local Vegas grinder with over $350,000 in lifetime winnings.

While everyone was here for a good time, the presence of at least three serious players made for a tough field for a $160 buy-in. The Westgate poker room was bustling with five of their seven tables full and cash game action generating big pots right across the aisle from our seniors. Not bad considering that they are fighting the F1 traffic and parking mess here in Vegas and it’s only 3 pm!
