About Suited Poker Gear

Since it’s inception in 2014, Suited Poker Gear has been a top choice for pros across the spectrum, from Chris Moneymaker to Lena Evans, with a broad range of high end clothing options that can keep you comfortable and looking like a winner in your favorite poker room. This year SPG launched a tour with five stops around the country and more on the way. They also work with charities, including the All In For Justice event last month with Cheyanne Ivey and the Innocence Project.

The event we are watching today is a 50+ seniors event that happens on the fourth Saturday of every month at 2 pm at Westgate casino in Las Vegas, with a $160 buy-in, with 20,000 chips to start and 20 minute levels. The event typically has two tables, a bunch of swag giveaways from SPG, and ends early enough to make it a reasonable afternoon tournament without fear that you’ll be stuck playing until the wee hours of the morning.

Many of the players know each other, and friendly banter is constant. The staff is friendly, the dealers are sharp, and the environment is pleasant. This tournament is great for a seasoned veteran looking for or fun social tournament or a complete beginner looking to learn more about tournament play. No backpacks, no headphones, no surly drunks, just seniors having a good time and testing their skills.
